The 26th Annual Conference of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) will be held in Wanchai, Hong Kong from Thursday, October 20 – Sunday, October 23, 2016. On Friday, October 21, 2016, A Day For Teachers will be held, and on Saturday, October 22, 2016, A Day For Medics will be held, with additional special programs available.
Target Audience
This four-day conference is directed to those involved with the health care, education, administration and supervision of dancers, including physicians, physical therapists, allied health professionals, alternative health care practitioners, psychologists, arts administrators, artistic directors, choreographers, educators, scientists, movement specialists, and dancers.
A Day for Teachers
A Day For Teachers will be run alongside the main conference on Friday October 21st. Aimed primarily at local dance teachers, the programme will consist of a series of presentations on the application of dance science and medicine in the studio. Click here for more information.

A Day for Medics
A Day for Medics will be run within the main conference on Saturday October 22st. Aimed at the local and mainland medical and paramedical professions, the programme will consist of a series of presentations from an international collection of esteemed dance medicine practitioners.
