BMI Changes among Marching Artists – A Longitudinal Study

According to the most recent epidemiological data collected by the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 35.7% of US adults and 18.4% of US adolescents (aged 12–19) are classified as obese (BMI≥30). Obesity among young adults in the US has been and continues to be a serious medical problem. Previous research suggests that most college students are not meeting dietary and physical activity guidelines, which contributes greatly to this problem.
